Coach Walks
Since the coach walks were restarted the attendance has been poor
and they have been heavily subsidised from club funds.
For the moment the coach walks will continue as scheduled.
Sunday 19th September – Dumfries Area
Sunday October 3rd - Ambleside
Sunday October 17th – Orton & Tebay
Sunday October 31st – Caldbeck
November 14th – Keswick, Grange (Remembrance Sunday)
If coach walks are to continue, walks and walk leaders are required
all of the above walks require walks and walk leaders
After the 14th of November we will review the situation
If there is no significant improvement in attendance then it's
possible coach walks will cease or be reduced to every four weeks
Let's hope it doesn't come to that
The current rules for coach walks regarding vaccination and face masks still apply
In the proposed winter programme, October, November and December
There are 56 walk slots, so far only 16 have a walk allocated
We have 170 members but only 8 walk leaders on the winter programme
Where are all you walk leaders?
Some members have asked if we will have a printed programme
There will be a printed programme, if there is something to print
Social Nights
Social nights are being introduced again
