Finding Walks
“Sometimes Members think the walks we lead are a bit repetitive. Those of us who lead do try to find new walks to put on the programme. Quite often we fail. However, to find that we’ve failed takes up a whole day! Therefore, it becomes expedient to recycle a walk we know, however, we still go out and do a recci before leading.
The walk in the photos sounded promising in the book and looked promising on the OS map. The bog was knee deep so decided it wasn’t one for the Club. We were in the Hallbankgate area.
