Club Update
The club constitution requires that an Annual General Meeting (AGM)
be held no later than the 31st March.
With the present situation regarding Covid regulations it will not be possible to do this and it is impossible to say when we will be able to hold an AGM.
The current committee are all prepared to continue until it is possible to hold an AGM and I have asked our current President, Graham Bell, if he will extend his three year term until it is possible to elect a new president.
Graham has agreed to do so.
Meanwhile, the club carries on. We can now organise walks from 29th March, organised sport and physical activity, which include Ramblers group walks, can resume from the 29 March, and are exempt from legal gathering limits, no limit on the number on a walk. Car sharing will be allowed from 17th May
and if all goes according to plan we will have our first coach walk on the 27th June.
We also hope to resume Thursday evening walks from the 24th June
The annual subscription fee (£10) is now due and should be paid by the 31st March
Despite not being able to organise any walks or activities the
club still has expenses and commitments
