An event which some of our members may be interested in
This unique event aims to encourage as many people as possible to venture out onto the Lakeland Fells in Cumbria, specifically the 214 Wainwright Fells, to demonstrate their commitment to the conservation and protection of the physical and natural environment. This event is:
- The launch of Another Way, – a registered charity with a mission to empower people to change their own lives for the health and happiness of themselves, their community and our planet
- A record-breaking attempt for the most people simultaneously summiting each of the Wainwrights in the Lakeland fells – highlighting the need to bring our planet back from the brink of disaster
Sustainable Carlisle will be the Ambassador organisation for Great Calva and will be leading the meet from 1pm on the top. More information can be obtained by emailing info@sustainablecarlisle.org
There will be lifts organised for those who need them.
